Deborah Cox Will Sing Whitney Houston's Music In Lifetime Biopic!

Vocal Powerhouse Deborah Cox will not be part of the 'Whitney' Houston Biopic!  The "Jekyll & Hyde" singer and Broadway actor was recently contacted to specifically sing all songs that will be part of the Lifetime biopic of the Iconic singer!  Angela Bassett is directing the film has been legally barred by the Houston Family from using any of Whitney's originally recorded tracks 

According to E! News Deborah Cox was contacted to step in based on the current legalities surrounding licensing Houston's music for the cable tv movie and would force actress Yaya DeCosta to lip-sync the chosen songs for production.  Whitney & Deborah collaborated on the duet track "Same Script, Different Cast" song back in 2000.  The song was released as a single that was a relatively minor hit but powerful and emotion track.  "Same Script, Different Cast" reached #14 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop charts and peaked at #70 on the Billboard hot 100 chart.
